Art Prices and Examples

WHAT I DON'T DRAW:

- overly detailed outfits/designs
- fetish charactersplease don't ask me to draw pool-toy/inanimate object or aged-down versions of characters.

i am able to provide alternative versions of art for a design's closed species variant!
(ex. waterdogs, one version the waterdog, the other normal dog)
variant prices are listed underneath each option.!!variant fee is for basic edits only!!! extra fees will be charged
for major lineart or design edits with cs variants!!**regarding NSFW work, please contact me for examples and i will give a more detailed list of what i will and will not draw.

please note, i sometimes use different brushes for my art, so slight variances between finished products may occur.

HOW TO ORDER/COMMISSION PROCESS

- once you are ready, please use the form linked below to request a commission.
the form is directly linked to my queue for ease of access.
- you are free to dm me on discord or note/chat me on deviantart for a quote!- upon acceptance, an invoice will be sent via paypal to the e-mail provided from the customer.
art will not be started until invoice is paid.- please be clear about what you want!
ultra specifics and concept doodles/scribbles are a big plus if necessary for you.- i only work with characters that already have reference artwork or characters that have already been designed/are not open concepts for me to have free reign with interpreting or otherwise "designing."
a $15 fee will be charged if the characters have no existing references.- a sketch will be delivered to you before the art is completed to ensure customer satisfaction with pose, expression, and accuracy to character design.- turnaround time can be between 1 week to six months.
this is not a definite max - i will openly communicate should i estimate that the completion may take longer.

Sketch

- solid white/off-white background
- digital or traditional mediums available- +50% price for color
- +75% price for finish (shading and highlights)
- +50% price for additional characters (per each)

- $30 for fullbody sketch

Bust

- full color and finish (shading & highlights)
- can have solid or transparent background+75% price for additional characters (per each)

- $30 for shoulders-up
- $60 for half-body

Chibi

- small, cute, hyper-exaggerated proportions
- pricing is per character in each piece!
- eligible for CS variants! +75% price per variant

pricing starts at:
- $25 for no shading
- $35 for shading

Fullbody

- price is per each character!
- eligible for CS variants! +75% price per variant

- $45 for shading

Portrait

- 4:5 canvas (3600x4500)
- full color and finish (shading & highlights)
- one character only

- $50 for simple background
- $85 for scenic background

Icon

- 1:1 canvas (3000x3000)
- full finish and background
- headshot to shoulders-up
- one character only

Animated Icon

- 1:1 canvas (500x500, can resize on request)
- full color and background
- headshot
- one character only
- miniscule effects available on request

by commissioning me, you agree that you

General Rights

THESE TERMS MAY BE CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE.- "you/they/commissioner(s)/customer(s)" refers to the requestor of the commission initiating the business transaction
- "commission/piece/artwork/art" refers to the digital art product to be completed and delivered to the commissioner
- "i/my/me" refers to myself, Danny Horse/DannyHorse/DannyHorseRulesi always retain a partial right to my work. i have full rights to reupload and use
all commission work for portfolio showcasing purposes.i also have the right to adjust pricing, charge fees, and refuse service to any commissioner
at any time during the business transaction for any reason.

MY WORK IS NEVER TO BE USED FOR
GENERATIVE AI DATASETS
OR NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
IF IT IS FOUND WITHIN AN AI ART DATASET
OR ON AN NFT TRADING SITE
IT IS IN VIOLATION OF MY TERMS.

Refunds

- you are free to request a refund at any time while the commission is in progress. once a commission is completed, it is no longer eligible for any refunds. no exceptions.- refunds shall be proportionate to the level of work finished for the commission at the time of a refund's request, based on the below scale:

  • no progress: 100% of price refunded

  • sketch in progress: 80% of price refunded

  • sketch finished/lineart in progress: 75% of price refunded

~ if a sketch commission, at this stage it is considered fully complete and therefore ineligible for refund.

  • lineart finished/color in progress: 50% of price refunded

  • color finished/shading in progress: 25% of price refunded

~ if a "no shading" commission, at this stage it is considered fully complete and therefore ineligible for refund.

- tips will not be refunded if given.- i retain the right to refund a commissioner at any time for any reason.

Changes

if a commission is finished and the commissioner is unsatisfied with the final artwork, they have the right to request edits.
i will work with the commissioner to properly tweak the finished art depending on the type of change requested.eligible changes:
- an error in color, such as markings incorporated in the design
- an error in cleanliness, such as stray marks or color bleeding outside of lineart
- an error in specifics of character designineligible changes:
- an update to reflect design changes after the commission was ordered or finished
(can vary and is up to my discretion, please ask if you're interested)- i retain the right to accept or deny performing changes to my work at any time for any reason.

Commercial Rights

BY DEFAULT, COMMISSIONERS CAN NOT COMMERCIALLY DISTRIBUTE COMPLETED COMMISSIONED WORKS.examples of situations in violation of my terms ONLY WITHOUT EXPRESS PERMISSION FROM MYSELF:- selling the work as a design for merch
- using the work to advertise their own work or brand (under false pretenses or otherwise)
- re-using or repurposing the unique style or pose of the work for their own work, such as with YCH-style commissionsall options of my commission work are eligible for commercial distribution rights.
